Upworthy.

대충 어떤 곳인지는 지난번에 블로깅 했으니 생략^^;;;

social-native, mission-driven media startup .

10 Reasons You Should Come Work With Us At Upworthy

1. You'll be part of a team that's having real impact.

We're touching tens of millions of people every month with irresistible content about issues that really matter: body imagebullyingcancer, domestic abusegay identityfracking, and countless other topics.

2. Life's fun on a rocket ship.

Upworthy was called the fastest-growing media company of all time last October — and we're reaching about 3X more people today. At the same time, we're still a small team; every new person who joins will make a significant impact on what we become.

3. You can work from anywhere.

Work from home, from a coffee shop, from a coworking space — anywhere with good enough Internet to do a Google Hangout. Go move to Montana for a month and work from there if you want. (And if you already live in Montana, keep on living there!) There are no remote workers here, we're all part of a distributed team.

4. We WANT you to take time off.

Everyone at Upworthy has unlimited time off — we enforce a minimum, not a maximum. To make sure folks are actually recharging, we even give a $500 vacation stipend that can only be used for taking an actual phone-off not-checking-in vacation.

언리미티드 time off 라니요..

5. We give you lots of freedom and expect a lot in return.

We look for the sort of people who don't need a lot of supervision in order to do amazing work — and then try to give them everything they need in order to succeed here.

6. You're encouraged to have a life and a family (if you want one).

Working in a virtual office means you can always adjust your schedule for drop-offs, pick-ups, and doctor's appointments, and you can shift your hours whichever way you need to be home for bedtime. We have great health benefits, cover families at no additional cost, and provide generous paid parental leave to women and men alike.

7. We value results, not hours spent working.

Work when you're working well; take a break when you're not. We don't care about 9-5 (or 9-9) — we care about what you've done lately to contribute significantly to our growth and impact in the world.

8. It's a really high-octane bunch (considering we're plug-in-hybrid-type people mostly).

You'll be working with former leaders of The Onion, MoveOn.org, the Obama campaign, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and the Sunlight Foundation. Plus, Upworthy's backed by the co-founder of Facebook, the co-founder of Reddit, and the co-founder of BuzzFeed, as well as a lot of other great investors.

9. We provide free, great, no-deductible health insurance, a 401(k), and a bunch of other wonderful benefits.

Plus, we pay competitively and provide everyone the ability to make progress on meaningful work — the key to happiness.

10. We're changing how media is done, and we need your help.

The old media had tons of problems, but one thing they had right was a noble mission to inform the public and draw attention to the things that really matter in our society. Here at Upworthy, we're building a media company that's completely native to the digital/mobile/social moment of the early 21st century without losing sight of that higher mission.

It's going really well so far, but the road ahead is long, and we need the smartest, most passionate, most driven, and most curious people we can find in order to tackle the massive challenges ahead.

Curator

a clever eye for content, visual communication, and a bold voice for packaging,

Curator 에 대한 The Ideal Candidate 는 이렇구요...
